Peteena was released by Hasbro in 1966 and marketed as "The pampered poodle". She was a very original concept for her time, and even up to this day. She was made in Japan and had her own small line of fashions that came in boxes with pretty illustrations on, which show her much sassier than she actually is.

She seems to be very popular in Japan and fetches good prices on ebay, especially NRFB dolls which can go for several hundred dollars.
